This homemade granola recipe is crunchy, lightly sweetened, and packed with nutritious ingredients like oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. It’s simple to prepare, naturally sweetened with honey or maple syrup, and perfect for breakfast or snacking.
Ingredients
3cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
1/2cup honey or pure maple syrup
1/3cup coconut oil, melted
1teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4teaspoon salt
1/2cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, or apricots, chopped if large)
1/4cup seeds (pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds)
Optional Add-ins: (Unsweetened shredded coconut, Chia seeds or ground flaxseeds, Dark chocolate chips (add after baking)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped nuts, seeds, cinnamon, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth.

Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is evenly coated.

Spread the mixture in a thin, even layer on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through for even browning.

Remove from oven and allow to cool completely on the baking sheet. The granola will crisp up as it cools.
