Ingredients
    For the Meat Filling:

  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary (or 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • For the Mashed Potato Topping:
  • 2 lbs potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet recommended) (900 g)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup whole milk (warm)
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
